Data deletion
Your records, your call. Here is how to remove them.
Delete a single receipt
Open the receipt from Expenses and choose Delete. Its line items go with it.
Export everything first
Settings → Export gives you a CSV of every expense plus your receipt files, so you keep a copy for your records before deleting anything.
Delete your account
Settings → Delete account removes your expenses, receipts, stored context and remembered decisions. This cannot be undone.
Keep your legal obligations in mind
HMRC expects self-employed business records to be kept for at least five years after the 31 January submission deadline. Deleting from ClaimMate does not remove that obligation, so export first.
